These georgette silk garments are so versatile that they can be worn as both inner and outer wear.
I would suggest that, as they are a bit transparent and you want to wear them as a dress with or without a belt (see pic), that they are best worn over the same length black silk nightie / slip.
These nightie / slips have adjustable straps and powder coated metal clips and sliders, so they do not break like plastic ones. A bias cut ensures a comfortable fit.
